Wyfels or Becks

I currently use Wyfels Hybrids, and they are outstanding, and I'm wondering if becks is better, or worse, because I have a guy saying becks is better.

CHAMPION SEED or JACOBSEN SEED either one are better for numerous reasons to mention and both headquartered in the State of Iowa Champion is in Central Iowa just north of Ded Moines in Ellsworth just off of 1-35 and Jacobsen in Northwest Central Iowa a little town called Lakeview about 1 hour Northwest of Carroll or an hour East of the Nebraska state line.

I'll start by saying we sell Beck's, if you're looking for the cheapest option then they probably aren't going to be your go to. However if you have a good dealer that knows your area, soils, challenges, etc then it doesn't really matter the company because they all have good products, it's just a matter of putting the right hybrid on your ground.

Click this link and it will take you to an overview of how FBN’s seed finder tool works.

You can compare hybrids in your area and you can even double check hybrid numbers and find out if they both have some of the same hybrids. I would guess there is some overlap.

we used to plant a lot of Wyfles and Pioneer and a little Beck’s. We have had such good luck with Becks that now it’s mostly Beck’s and a little Pioneer and haven’t planted Wyffles in a few years. I agree with the other post, the dealer makes a difference. Becks pricing has often been better as well so win win for us.

We've had great luck with Beck's. Our neighbors got pushed out by Pioneer and that's what they switched to.

Honestly all of the quality brands yield about the same. Which dealer will service you the best? Dad bought Pioneer for 40 years and got some hats and sweatshirts. It was really nice to have some tangible rewards and a slightly lower bill versus Pioneer and DeKalb/Asgrow.
