How to Analyze Seed Populations in Seed Finder

FBN Seed Finder allows you to analyze optimal populations for thousands of seeds. Seed Finder has now processed over 93m acres of yield data for over 6,000 seeds. To see performance details of any seed, click the blue link on the seed's name.

This planting, we've expanded trial access to Seed Finder so you can explore seed performance on a limited number of hybrids before uploading yield data.

Once on the seed profile page, select "Seeding Rate" on the left menu. Seeding Rate depicts the actual "as planted" data from the planter which is the best proxy for your ultimate population. You can hover your cursor over any population band to see how many acres of data are behind that result.

To localize yield results for a specific soil type or region, use the Soil Type / Soil Texture filter and choose your target soils. OR you can select the State filter and see all results in your state.

To fully access Seed Finder results, upload recent Yield Data (to access Seed Performance) and Seed Invoices (to access Seed Price Transparency).
