sunflower stand

Question

here in north east ND we planted sunflowers at 22k in 15” rows. Planted may 5/10 into spring wheat stubble. Have a live stand count of anywhere from 8k-14k. My question is do I rip it up and replant or will sunflowers make up for the missing seeds

haven’t grown flowers for a while but I have a handout for sunflowers with a little info. Take it for what it’s worth. If your stand is even I’d say leave it. If un even I’d say replant

I would get a crop consultant who can walk the field with you to make a call like that though. I’m not going to make a recommendation to you here.
