im curious other’s opinions on apply fertilizer for corn. I currently run liquid 2x2 through planter. Am considering going to broadcast ahead of planter. Mainly due to having upgraded planters and the new one isn’t equipped with anything. So spend money to continue 2x2 or is broadcasting just as good? Thoughts? Opinions?

If you do stick to liquid I would suggest you be very diligent in making sure you're using the right products that will fill the limiting factor and maximize yield.

Spend your first dollars in furrow!

For us in heavier clay soils 2x2 through the planter works best for us. Customers have tried broadcast and lose potential yield.
If you’re on some nice loam/sand I thing broadcast is likely sufficient but most would agree 2x2 gives best results
