Aug. 12, 2016
We're excited to invite you to join Dr. Tom Osborne, legendary coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, at Farmer2Farmer 2016, for a fascinating talk on how to create a winning team both in sports and on your farm.
During Coach Osborne's 25 seasons, Nebraska captured 3 national championships and 13 conference crowns, including six of his final seven seasons as head coach. Osborne's 255 career victories are the eighth-most all-time among major college football coaches. His achievements were so highly regarded that the National Football Foundation waived its three-year waiting period so that he could be inducted into its Hall of Fame in December of 1998. Osborne was the first coach in college football history to retire as a reigning national champion.
Following his coaching career, Tom spent 6 years in the US Congress and was later Athletic Director of the University of Nebraska.
