What We Do

At Farmers Business Network®, we are on a mission to put Farmers First® by offering a one-stop-shop platform for products, services, and data that make a difference in farmers’ businesses and lives.

We are disrupting and transforming an industry that has been historically underserved by digital technology and innovation - whether it’s through providing access to high ROI farm inputs via our direct-to-farm e-commerce store, offering data science-driven agronomic insights about farmers’ fields, helping farmers sell their crop more intelligently and independently or supporting them with digital financing, health and crop insurance.

We're looking for people who are eager to join some of the brightest, collaborative, and visionary minds to help build an immensely valuable company for our farmers and for our future.

Our values serve as the foundation for who we are and how we operate our business at FBN.

Act Like An Owner

We are all accountable for the actions and decisions we make, and we do whatever it takes to deliver on our commitments (to each other and to our customers). We think commercially, recognizing the responsibility we have to the short and long-term interests of each other, FBN and customers.

Be a Great Team

We are one team that works together in service of our mission. We trust each other to play our parts, while challenging each other to do our best work. We collaborate enthusiastically and communicate broadly. We recognize that great results come from the actions of teams working together.

Serve Family Farmers

We are always Farmers First. Everything we do is in service of our farmers’ wellbeing and longevity. We equip farmers with the products, services, and information needed to promote short and long-term prosperity. We are courageous in action, taking on the hardest problems that farmers face.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational pillars of who we are and how we go about our business at FBN. We treat each other, and the communities we interact with, with respect, and celebrate the different perspectives and experiences that every team member brings. We have a strong, grassroots effort to advance DEI efforts at FBN, and we’re empowering individuals at all levels across the organization to get involved. Our DEI Co-Operative is a cross-functional group that partners across the organization to advance initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion. The DEI Co-Op is focused on three categories of goals:

Education & Literacy

Explore and train employees on topics such as unconscious bias, anti-racism, allyship, and inclusive communication.

Create and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Several groups have been established by employees at all levels (including executive sponsors), such as Women @ FBN, PRIDE @ FBN (LGBTQIA+ ERG), Veterans n’ Farming and Adelante (Latinx ERG).

Design diverse and equitable recruiting and sourcing practices, perform pay equity analysis across functions, and develop a transparent internal mobility program.
