DRAXXIN® is for the treatment and control of respiratory disease in beef and nonlactating dairy cattle at high risk of developing BRD associated with Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and Mycoplasma bovis. For suckling calves, dairy calves and veal calves, DRAXXIN is approved for the treatment of BRD associated with M. haemolytica, P. multocida, H. somni and M. bovis. DRAXXIN is also for the treatment of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) associated with Moraxella bovis and foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphyromonas levii in beef and nonlactating dairy cattle.
Important Safety Information for Cattle: Do not use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. A pre-slaughter withdrawal time has not been determined for pre-ruminating calves. Effects on reproductive performance, pregnancy and lactation have not been determined. DRAXXIN has a pre-slaughter withdrawal time of 18 days. DRAXXIN should not be used in animals known to be hypersensitive to the product.
Important Safety Information for Swine: The pre-slaughter withdrawal time for DRAXXIN in swine is five days. DRAXXIN should not be used in animals known to be hypersensitive to the product.
