Mineral for Cows Grazing Low Quality Forage
FBN LQ FORAGE MIN 16:6 is designed to be fed free-choice to cows on forage diets where the forage is predominantly mature.
Examples would be late season grass pastures or hay harvested after seed production. These forages have high NDF levels (> 65% NDF) that limit forage intake by the cow. The lower forage intake results in lower mineral intake.
Macrominerals and micromineral levels in this product are formulated to account for the predicted lowered mineral intake from the diet.
