Referrals made by a referrer must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends, colleagues, and family members. By submitting any names, email addresses, and/or contact information as part of the program, you represent that you have the appropriate permission and consent. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other use of the services described herein in a manner that is not promoted is expressly prohibited and may be grounds for immediate termination and further legal action.
For each successful referral, the referrer and referred will be sent a gift card worth $250.00 redeemable on Amazon.com, unless otherwise determined by FBN in its sole discretion. Restrictions apply, see amazon.com/gc-legal. Gift cards will be digital and sent to email addresses provided by both parties. It is incumbent upon the parties to provide FBN with a valid email address. FBN is not responsible for issues relating to delivery and receipt of the gift cards due to failure to provide FBN with the proper email address.
A successful referral will only be counted once the loan is closed by the referred party. Gift cards will be issued on a monthly basis, so please allow for approximately one (1) month from loan closure to receipt of the gift card. Rewards are subject to verification. FBN may delay a reward for the purposes of investigation. FBN may also refuse to verify and process any transaction FBN deems, in its sole discretion, to be fraudulent, suspicious, in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or believes will impose potential liability on FBN, its subsidiaries, affiliates, or any of its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents. FBN’s decisions are final and binding, including decisions as to whether a referral or reward is verified.
To qualify as a participant of this program, both the referrer and referee must be a natural person, a legal resident of the United States, and at least 18 years old. Referred parties which are previous or current customers or prospects of FBN Finance, LLC may not qualify for the referral reward. Referred loan’s final amount must be for a minimum of $250,000 in order to qualify for the referral reward. Employees, and immediate family and household members of employees, of Farmer’s Business Network, Inc. and any affiliates/subsidiaries are not eligible for this program.
FBN can cancel the referral program at any time at its sole discretion. Further, FBN can change details of the program at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to the value or vendor of the gift card or reward. Details of the referral rewards and additional terms will be available on this page or accompanying promotional materials.
Depending on your personal situation and circumstances, the referrer and referred participants in the referral program may owe tax on any referral reward earned. Referrer and referred parties should consult with a personal tax advisor for more information regarding any potential tax liabilities. Referrer and referred parties are responsible for independently assessing and complying with all relevant tax and legal requirements. FBN does not and will not provide any tax or legal advice. FBN may require the referrer and referred participants to provide FBN with a completed IRS form W-9 and FBN may thereafter issue a Form 1099 for that calendar year. FBN may utilize a third-party service provider to perform this function. If FBN requires a completed form W-9 from a referrer or referred participant and the party fails to provide one, FBN reserves the right to void any rewards.
