The D3 needle has a patented detectable thick wall stainless steel cannula that is 100% detectable in metal detection systems. D3 needles also have thick-walled cannulas which are crimped and pressed into plated brass hubs which give them superior strength when compared to conventional needles. Bending and breaking is reduced 6-fold and needle tips will stay sharper longer.
