Keratex Hoof Hardener strengthens weak, worn, and cracked hooves by reinforcing their molecular structure. It is effective in both wet and dry conditions, preventing the hoof from absorbing excess moisture that can lead to softening and weakening. By maintaining the hoof’s natural moisture balance, it helps reduce the risk of shoe loss and abscesses. Unlike oils or resins, Keratex Hoof Hardener does not create a sealed layer, allowing the hoof to breathe naturally. It should also be applied to the sole to help prevent bruising.
