How to speed the maturity of corn up?

We replanted some hailed out irrigated corn in late June. As it is now we will need a freeze at the end of October and our average freeze date is October 10th. We have had plenty of moisture and the corn is not stressing. I was thinking if I would shut the irrigation off and stress the corn if it would speed up the process. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks

I'd say you will end up with light test corn no matter how you shake it. Maybe consider earliage or an alternative harvest method?
