Hi,
I am in Lexington, VA and looking to grow rice here. The only seeds for sale I saw were long grain. I am looking for short grain so I can brew beer and make wine out of them. Please let me know where I can get them.
Preferably a hybrid with a short growing season as it gets cold here by September for rice.,

I am a grower in CA, have sold rice for sake and that is medium grain rice. We have both available and have some short season varieties , which will probably work in your area. You are just a little north of us here in Sacramento area. Call me at ************ if you are serious, ***.
