We got a new CIH 5140 two years ago, but kept our MacDon FD70 draper. I like the draper head, but since getting the new combine, I can't get the reel to spin as fast as I want in automatic mode. If I go to manual speed, I can spin it as fast as I want. But, regardless of the "type" settings I try and at the highest dial setting in "auto", it just barely keeps up with ground speed. I've been tolerating it the past couple season, but I'd really like to get this resolved. My settings are in the attached picture. I asked MacDon support. They told me to ask dealer. Dealer was less than helpful. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting. I'll play with that a little more. Thanks again ****
Update... I did try different values in the "Reel Drive Type" box. But, that either caused it to not work at all or ran even slower. I have no idea what the numeric value range is.

I believe it is the size of the motor in cubic centimeters that needs to be in there
Check in your setup there should be a setting for the reel drive hydro motor size I'd make sure that matches up with your head for starters

I'll see if I can find anything like that. It doesn't ring any bells for me.
