Don't get too specialized too early in your career.

Watch out for “friends, neighbors, and industry professionals” they’ll screw you over faster then anyone. Old iron pays faster then new, irrigation irrigation irrigation (at least here), shop inputs (thank you FBN)
Get a full time job to support your farming addiction.Do something special in life first.
Depends on whether you are looking to farm or pursue a career in the agriculture industry. With that said, regardless of your career path, be proactive.
