Case IH 7140

My neighbor has a Case IH 7140 mfwd with approximately 7500 hours. It is a good looking tractor but the transmission is slipping in the top six gears, 12 through 18. It's been this way for 3 plus years. He still uses the tractor with no issues other than it being slow on the road. I would like to buy the tractor as is. What would be a fair price?
