I went to change mine and after removing timing cover the filter just fell out three bolts to hold it in place were gone????

I found 2 0f 3 looked as best as I could with auto scoop The owners manual says dont over tighten what a joke
I had the same problem with my 340 magnum. Luckily the bolts were wedged in the back side of the cover and didn’t fall down into the crankcase.
