What can I spray post emergence on soybeans to get rid of water hemp. They only have Rr trait

I grow all liberty beans. Have not run into anything that it won't kill.

You must have a lot of faith mother nature too. ***** Pro the last couple years has been less than stellar due the extended dry periods after it was applied, leaving quite a few escapes to clean up with the post pass.

Good luck we can’t kill late season water hemp or pigweed with Cobra,Ultra Blazer,Marvel or Prefix in RR1 beans the only thing that keeps us clean is Zidua Pro or Authority Supreme and it works very well but has to be applied right behind the planter and pray for rain to incorporate it before new weed growth ! I have enough faith in my pre emerge program now that I have switched to 100% non gmo

I don’t think I would use Flexstar anymore. I believe it has a 10 month rotation to corn and I have seen flexstar damage to corn the next year. Plus I don’t think I would want to burn my beans now since they are flowering. A cultivator is your best option at this point.

If waterhemp are small 6-7inches tall 1qt glyphosate 4 ounces anthem-max has worked well

I used Zidia SC at 3 oz and it did a great job

I made an assumption that they where using Glysophate in the mix. Ooooops! Thanks for correcting my post.

Zidua Sc and Zidua pro are awesome. However they’re only residuals, if you wanna kill something already up it takes about a 6 oz per acre rate paired with an MSO or adding glysophate or dicamba to the tank

Cobra is decent. Cobra with crop oil smokes everything. However, using Xcelerate (non-ionic surfactant) from Royal Oil will only bronze the soybeans. Xcelerate will also help glyphosate (or other active ingredients) do its best at standard rate. Not to overlook water ph and benefits of restructuring water for spray and irrigation using NuForce inline unit for best plant uptake / efficiency.

PPI resistant waterhemp if flexstar/ultra blazer/cobra didn't kill them. If roundup ready only -- like everyone says-- steel is your only remedy

Save your money and spray if weeds are o ver 3 inches. Just go and hook up the cultivator,at least you know you'll get 80% of the water hemp

I used Flexstar GT and added a qt. of Roundup worked very well

Had, the same issue, tried Cobra, didn’t work. Not sure if anything will work.

Are they roundup ready plus liberty link beans

I tried Ultra blazer after flexstar didn't and it did not work either so now I am convinced cultivating the rowed beans and walking the double row beans.I also applied Dual with the flexstar but we didn't have any rain to incorporate it.

what stage are the soybeans at? it may limit you down to only a couple options. mostly burners. burn the beans and weeds! weeds are not resistant to iron yet if you have a cultivator around! I have seen cobra do a decent job on water hemp postemerge. keep the rate up.

Avalanche or Cobra think they are basically the same but different manufacturers. The burn will keep you sleepless for several nights.

Warrant will not work on emerged waterhemp
