What works to keep deer out of corn other than fencing and shooting?

Bought a farm that was CRP and leased for hunting. Have two 160 AC. Hunting clubs that lease for profit next to me. Don't want to destroy their business and don't have the money for 8 ft fencing. Any suggestions?

Usually spray 3 times 2-3 weeks apart

I spray the beans along the wood line 3 passes 80’ wide, then up the sides 1/4 mile away from the woodland . It has to be sprayed by itself.

Do you only do a perimeter as well? 200ft?

Do you just throw it in with your burn down or whatever? Or do a special trip?

How often do you have to spray it?

200 foot usually works pretty well. We found best results by spraying beans when true leaves are present. We have mixed with roundup and dual before but can be kind of aggravating to mix. I prefer spraying separately myself. Repeat spraying every two to possibly 3 weeks. We try to keep it sprayed on a schedule until beans get big enough to hold their own and then spray just to minimize damage when...

Plantskydd Has been a blessing for us. It took a while to figure out the easiest way to mix and apply it but it has been the only way we have been able to grow soybeans in some areas. Works well with deer in corn and soybeans as well as hogs and bear. Was very skeptical at first but has turned out to be the only thing that works for us.

Plantskydd is dehydrated hog blood. A LB per acre cost is $12 per acre. Just spray 200’ around field on the field

We’re trying plantskydd this season. Also trying chemically derived “hot sauce” that’s 10,000,000 Scovall units per ml. Available online.

I also think that it would not be unprofessional at all to write a polite letter to the hunting club’s explaining the situation and asking them if they would help to share half the cost of these deterrents.

Plantskydd sprayed on works great. Spray borders 200’ feet wide strips.

What kind of rate do you put down? Cost per acre?

I'm more interested for soybeans protection
