We will be polling members across the U.S. to track how planting progress is going for various crops and sharing the results here on a weekly basis. Thanks to the members who are responding to our polls so that we can provide this detail to the network!

4000 acres corn and beans planted in NE KS. Ground in perfect condition

5500 corn in. Some corn been in ground 13 days   It’s got over 1 sprout. Plants great but. Dry farther down.

All these tough conditions that we are all reporting are just what the doctor ordered for us farmers!  Take insurance at 85% revenue which is at profitable levels and pray that we don’t raise a crop so we take even more bushels off the market!  Because farmers are price takers and not price makers and we will need even more $ per bushel next year to absorb the prices that these retailers are looking at throwing at us farmers next year!  Because there will certainly be a shortage of Fertlizer!
