Looking for an Elk!…in Montana
My nephew (12 yr old first timer) has a deer and elk combo tag and we kicked around for 10 in the early back country season but didn’t have any luck. We took stock and found out that some of the trails were either too tough or unkempt. Either way he wasn’t successful and I’d like to take another run at it. Thought maybe someone on here would have a piece of land where maybe they needed some herd management. Thanks for reading and feel free to give me a shout f you can help.

Look at the mt fwp website, they made changes to the regulations because it was such a tough year for hunting due to whether. There several hunting districts that can be hunted later on a general tag. Hopefully you can find a place to go!!!
