We are looking at putting up a 24150 with the expandable feature going from 8 tiers to 16 in future. Is there anyone out there that would never get one again? I talked to an agi rep about the advantages of this dryer over a grain handler and he said the biggest one is, is that the controlling of the heating and cooling zones. We will be drying Wheat and Corn primarily. I Know a lot of neighbors having excel and grain handler dryers but we have agi bins and agi suretrack and like that platform so that is our reason going this route.

We have owned a NECO mix flow for about 15 years and wouldn't have anything else. We upgraded to a larger 24380 in 2020 with paddle drag unloads and it does a fantastic job. Wouldn't be without the DryerMaster Command Net once it get leveled out it runs great on automatic. The flexibility as you move from upper 20% corn to 17-18% corn you can cut burners out and steep in sections and cool others. The configurations you can run them in helps with efficiency. We also have a screen dryer at second bin site, and we can dry corn for about 1/2 the cost at our NECO site. Only thing that may bother you is the bee's wing/dust come out of the triangles and float all over the bin site, but I think that is a good thing because there are no plugged screens.
