How many people have an off farm job to support the farm?

Yep. Work as a mechanic out of my shop and haul corn and hay for neighbors and whatever else I can for extra money.

Yes I have a winter off farm job that supplement our income, as most farmers know our farm income is not realized until harvest in mid Fall.

I use to work full-time, and two part time jobs my wife works full-time just to make farming work. Then my dad had a stroke. I left my jobs to dedicate more time to farming and carry him thru. Wife and I both have part time jobs off the farm. We also farm full time. No free time whatsoever. We changed health insurance providers to prevent our $5,000 annual premium increase.
