For GMO corn I used Sure Start,  Atrazine, and Roundup. For conventional corn I simply replaced the Roundup with Princep. I've had excellent weed control.

What rates do you use and are there any rotational restrictions

I use 0.6 qts./A  Sure Start,  0.6 qts/A Atrazine, and 0.6 qts/A *******. **** is a corn and soybean rotation without cover crops. The rotation works fine, but I can't speak to restrictions concerning cover crops

I have used both acuron and resicore in non gmo for the past three years and I’ve been very happy with the broad spectrum control as well as residual control.

We used to use Glysophate+ Resicore but now use Glysophate+ Stalwart 3w. Both work well spraying after you plant. Stalwart 3w is $16 per acre.

If corn in not planted and i have grass coming i hit it with roundup and attrex about a pound a acre. if i have not got much grass pressure i have been having good luck with Caporeno and attrex in standing corn up to 12 inches tall but don't like the corn and weeds to get that tall.

I run 4 oz of Corvus plus 1# atrazine applied at V2. Keeps me clean all season since Corvus re-activates with rain. A bit pricey (around $18/ac), but it is a "1 & done" program so I can concentrate on other things without worrying about weeds.

Resicore is good start, if you really have weed pressure post emerge you cant beat the combination of Status and Impact or generic Impact (armezon) or even a laudis.  iif you dont have much grass just use the status if you want to kill most all your grass mix Armezon (impact) in tank also, With status i would strongly rec using a 1/2 rate of what is on label we have excellent control just using 2 1/2 oz to 3oz- i think a full rate of Status is like 6-8 oz.  Status will tie up nutrients and at higher rates can make stalks brittle for 5-12 days after application.  so i try not to use it, but if you got real weed issues post in non gmo corn nothing will beat 3 oz status and .75 to 1 oz Impact, add a little atrazine and some warrant or some residual and you are set for the year!  more Expensive that resicore or accuron.  i dont like using that much HPPD mode of action pre (which accuron is alot of hppd) on non gmo corn because HPPD's are like the best and almost only post chemistry to take out grass.  if use too much HPPD pre you will have label rotational issues if you need to come back for post grass control.  Could replace Status with just a low vol 24d or a diflex duo FYI but status is much better at lower rates and actually pretty cost effective when using lower rates

Full rate generic dual preplant. Followed by mesotrione and atrazine post. Cost is less than $12 acre. Excellent control and the price is right.

We raise popcorn.  So, it is non-GMO and the plant is not as big so we need a good herbicide program to get us through with no weed escapes.  We are also all no-till.  We either apply a fall burndown of 2qt 2-4D or a cover crop.  Then we come in the spring with a burndown of Roundup with 2-4D along with residual herbicides.  We normally use Dual at 1 pt. Anthem Maxx at 5.7 oz.  You can use this both for corn or beans.  This helps move burndown on and planting as we will run both the bean and corn planter's at the same time.  You will have to wait 7 days to plant because of the 2-4D.  Then we follow up with Laudis at 3 oz. with 9-0 at 1.88# with again 1 pt of Dual.  If it gets late or you want to or need to you can make a second post application of Laudis at 3 oz again use Brox or Buctril at this time at 1.5 pints.  With the Brox or Dual take out the crop oil with the Laudis it is to hot for popcorn.  This also works well on sweet corn.
