Minnesota farmer Mitch Thompson explains why he chose to grow conventional corn this year and how that decision is looking so far.
Mitch Thompson is a farmer in Southeast Minnesota. Along with his dad, he owns and operates Thompson Family Dairy, milking 300 cows, raising replacements and growing all their own feed. He also owns and operates Thompson Family Harvesting, LLC, where he does custom farming—everything from manure hauling and tillage to planting and harvesting.
