We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Shopping Lists website feature to support farmers in both the United States and Canada.
The new site feature supports purchase planning by enabling you to:
Create a shopping list of products that you can order from directly
View products you’ve purchased over the past two crop years with the option to purchase them again
Upload past invoices to automatically create a shopping list with custom suggestions
Share your shopping lists with others to invite collaboration and receive consultation on your input purchase plans
When we talked to farmers and producers during the Shopping List development process, we learned that many of them conducted research and planned for their input needs as they are preparing for the upcoming season.
A vast majority of farmers we spoke with said that ~80% of their input purchases remain consistent year over year. In general, they aim to start planning early by either remembering needs from past years or jotting plans down on a notepad, but this method is not always the most reliable approach.
By using the new Shopping List feature when making purchases through FBN, you can now plan and purchase necessary inputs in a single, streamlined digital experience.
1. View Your Lists
To view your lists, click the heart icon on the navigation bar or select “Shopping Lists” from the left navigation sidebar.
2. Add Products to Your List
When reviewing product information on a product page, simply click on the add/heart icon to add the product to an existing or new list. (This is also how you remove a product from a list.)
3. Purchase Products from Your Lists
Shopping lists allow you to select products you want and add them to your cart for purchase.
