FBN® members gain access to national, anonymized pricing analytics when they contribute input pricing data. We call this system FBN Price Transparency.
Farmers anonymously contribute pricing information by submitting images of invoices or quotes they have received from suppliers. Farmers must submit recent prices per unit of measure on a minimum of three products in order to get access to FBN Price Transparency. All prices recorded for Price Transparency exclude rebates.
There are three ways to contribute input invoices:
Upload file(s) to your FBN account - Log in to your FBN account and click on the Analyze tab at the top. Then click on My Data in the lefthand menu. Under Contracts & Invoices, click on + Add New to upload a scanned file or camera phone image directly into your account.
Email file(s) - If you already have an invoice sitting in your email inbox, you can forward the email to data@farmersbusinessnetwork.com.
Upload file(s) using the FBN app - Log in to the FBN app. Tap on Account, then tap on Add Data. Select Contracts & Invoices and take a picture of an invoice or upload from your photo library. Tap Submit to send directly to our data team.

What happens after you upload input invoices?
After you upload (or email) your invoices to your FBN account, our data processing team will add them to your account. Once added, you'll receive an email letting you know that FBN Price Transparency has been unlocked. With access to FBN Price Transparency, you will be able to see how the prices you pay compare to the national average paid by other farmers in the network! FBN members have saved tens of thousands by using this information to better negotiate with their current input suppliers.
Note - FBN Price Transparency currently works for chemicals (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, adjuvants) and a select amount of fertilizers.
