Make Your Own Grain Bin Monitoring System

Hi everyone! Years ago, I wanted to start putting automatic fan controls on all of our grain bins. Then came the sticker shock. So, I set out to create my own. I've been using a few of these for a couple of years now, and I just finished putting the final touches on the design for public use...

Yes - I really am giving away the details on how to build one and the software to run on the device. There is no "Trial period." The "Free" version is fully functional without any time limit. My only hope is that some of you will find the "Pro" version useful and worth the couple hundred bucks which will go towards developing another gadget I have in mind.

Here is the excerpt from my website (https://www.thecomputerconnectors.com/uncommon-hmt-device.html):

WHY SPEND THOUSANDS WHEN YOU COULD SPEND JUST A FEW HUNDRED?!

-Know the condition of your grain as you place it into your bin

-Know the condition of your grain for the duration of its storage in your bin

-Minimize spoilage

-Avoid losing money by over drying your grain

-Make more money by (legally) re-hydrating your grain to (near) industry standards

-(Hopefully) Minimize the need to enter your bin to remove/breakup spoilage

-(And, did we mention)… Make More Money

Let me know what you think.

Update:

I've had a couple of questions about the LCD...

As mentioned in the documentation, we noticed that Adafruit had stopped selling the "official" LCD after we had completed our engineering cycle. Thus, in the short term, you can find the LCD on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EUVJYME/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_ti...

If that link doesn't work, you should be able to just sear...
