*** ******: any thoughts on restricting control of checkoff groups by large entities?

By design checkoff entities are funded all stakeholders. Small = small investment, big = big investment. By investment size the bugs have a stronger voice with checkoff management. Can this power be rebalance now that some industries have concentrations of power, a small group of big investors.

Check off dollars are producer money. Should be able to lobby with those dollars. Right now we are paying for the research and promotion of BASF, Bayer, Dupont and so on. Then we pay again on tech fees. What a scam. If we cannot lobby with those dollars they should be refundable, period!
