How do you go about renting new farm ground in your area? Around us ground doesn't change hands that often, however it seems to be picking up in recent years with absentee land owners, farmers retiring etc. but we can't seem to pick up new ground, so how do you all go about throwing your hat in the ring for new ground?

my success has been leaving the fields and farms nicer than when we arrive.
