put in all the info and has said it would be ready within 15 mins a day and a half ago. was also wondering for people that use that how accurate are they

When I pulled up the field to enter harvest dates and times there was a yield there, however it seemed like on the beans they completely missed the fact that it didn't rain between June 25 and Aug 10th, and then got hailed on rather hard at R-5/R-6.  Or the fact that the corn was flat on the ground.

i got it firgured out, was just looking over a few things. i also noticed my precip's were off. some a lot some a little. ive only been on here about a month excited to see how accurate this stuff is. weve jumped around to a few soys this week but havent been able to finish a whole field yet due to some beans not drying down yet so cant really say how accurate estimates are

Is there anything i can do to make the yield prediction work? its never worked for me since ive been FBN member. i have had  the data uploaded since the day crops were planted and it always says it will be ready in a few days.

Hi Bren - thanks for reaching out. We'll take a look at your account. In some cases we've recently been having some performance issues with some of our satellite imagery, causing a delay in tools like Yield Prediction that rely on this information.

Definitely would be interested to hear from FBN members how their experience has been with the tool, but historically we have been within 9% accuracy for corn and soybeans on average comparing our predictions to the actual yield numbers submitted by members. This year we started supporting in-season predictions for wheat and canola and expect to have similar accuracy levels.
