For Sale section now live to all members in FBN Community

We're excited to announce that a new For Sale section is now available in FBN Community for all FBN members. This was something that our farmer members explicitly asked for and we are excited to add this functionality to the lively and farmer-driven FBN Community. Now you can list used equipment and services (ex. custom application, agronomy, consulting) as posts in FBN Community. We already have some listings live; check them out by filtering to For Sale in your Community feed.

To add your own listing or promote your services, just click New Post and select For Sale as the post topic.

You can read more about this new member benefit here: https://emergence.fbn.com/farm-and-rural-issues/ag-equipment-for-sale-fbn-community

Our most recent update to our Terms of Service includes a detailed list of what is appropriate and able to be sold via For Sale, please review this section if you have any questions about what you'll be allowed to list.

Can you put wanted to buy in there too?

Hey *** - great question. We are planning to add support for this soon. For now, I'd recommend posting in the category you're looking in (ex. Precision systems) and then we can migrate it over to the "In Search Of" category once that's built.

Thanks for the reply!

What I am looking for actually is feeder cattle. It would be great if you added an area for the livestock farmers to place ads too

Thanks *** - we are actively gathering farmer input on that topic specifically and are in discussions for how to use For Sale to best support livestock operators. Stay tuned for improvements there, but it's definitely something we're focused on.

In the meantime, I'd recommend putting up a post associated with the Livestock topic.
