Polls
Given the rise of online chatter around Western Bean Cutworm over the last couple of weeks we sent an additional poll yesterday to capture the footprint of this reported emergence. The results show Western Bean Cutworm presence in its known Western Corn Belt range with Nebraska as the clear hotspot. Roughly 69% of participants in Nebraska confirmed pest presence with secondary pressure in eastern Colorado, western Iowa, and Kansas. Eastern Corn Belt states are largely clean, matching the pest's biology, but it is critical to continue scouting as the season progresses.
