What tillage options exist for BOTH corn secondary and soybean single pass with a single implement?
I'm currently using a disk + cultivator + tine harrow style soil finisher as secondary tillage behind chisel plowing for corn. I also use this for single pass tillage on SB stubble before corn planting. I would like to also be able to do some single pass tillage of corn stalks in front of soybeans in the spring (weed control, bury some residue to enable lower SB populations and more even emergence). However, my current machine tends to ball stalks when running through corn stalks without primary tillage. What solutions are people using successfully to fill all of these use cases with a single implement?
