Bayer Force Majeure on Glyphosate?

Roundup manufacturer Bayer announced on Feb 14, 2022 they would declare Force Majeure on deliveries due to mechanical problems.

Has anyone been impacted by this directly? Did you have contracts with retailers that are now being canceled? Was a price established in those agreements?

Fortunately, FBN's supply chain team did a fantastic job by planning way ahead, developing our own independent supply chain, and keeping us fully stocked on glyphosate this season.  The Bayer situation will not affect any FBN order placed by February 14, 2022.  For orders placed by that date, we have ample inventory to serve member orders as originally promised.

The FBN Direct website is directly linked in real time to our warehouse inventory management systems and logistics network, so the delivery window shown is always our best estimate of when we can expect the product to reach your farm.

This season, we are only listing products for sale on the FBN Direct website when we have extremely high confidence we can deliver that product to you as promised.  This means we will typically only show products for sale and take orders where we have inventory on hand or in immediate transit to our facilities.  Many suppliers are taking orders and payment for inventory they still don't possess.  If you see it for sale on FBN Direct, it's typically available now.
