Opinions on Case 2150 Planter

I am looking for opinions on the Case 2150 planters. I’m looking into buying a new one. Any pros or cons to know about?

Case Early Riser planters are top notch when it comes to their row units. I would recommend an early riser planter anytime over any other brand. Some people say that the JD planters are better “above the row units” which may or may not be true. But what I do know is that Case IH has the best row units from an agronomic perspective. Because they have better row cleaners, more accurate seed spacing, better seed-soil contact, and a better closing system than the competitors. They also have less side-wall compaction than competitors as well which helps with early emergence. Sometimes the Case IH planters can be hassle to setup and get running properly because they are so complicated, but once they start working properly they’ll outperform the competition any day
