While still early in some areas, it’s the time of year we want to start watching for Spider Mites. Results in the maps below show relatively limited instances being reported so far with only 96 of the 712 participants (14%) reporting a positive observation to this point. Most observations, as we’d expect, are coming from western areas but we are seeing at least a small amount of pressure pop up in several places. As we progress through the late summer months we’ll want to continue to monitor for this pest, especially if things continue to dry out.
