Corn header loss with JD 893

Have an 893 John Deere corn head on a 9770 STS. Rotate corn to beans every year and last year was the worst year for header loss with this header... Can be proven from all the volunteer corn in our beans. Any tips on how to help with losses, adjustments to look for this year?? What have others tried and worked?
