We have midland, both cab mount and handheld. From what I’ve heard the fcc lisence is half what it was when we got ours. They are really clear and really have a good reach. They have tractor mount kits as well.

We use Midland 2-way radios. We struggled with CBs for decades and made the switch to Midland and could not be more satisfied!
I highly recommend

Forgot to add the best thing to do is find a good radio dealer. My customers that do their own installs have the most problems. Often times small shops are better because we have tighter quality control. Most of the big shops around here hire any warm body they can find. Over the years we’ve picked up probably half of our business by fixing other shops mistakes.
