2025 Corn Planting Progress 5/15 Results

This week's corn planting progress shows nearly 74% completion across the 18 states we surveyed representing a doubling of acres planted vs. this time two weeks ago and an increase of ~12% since the USDA's report this past Monday.

Nebraska, the Dakotas, Minnesota and Iowa continue to progress near completion while southern Illinois, southern Indiana and most of Ohio are still struggling to even get a start. With more rain forecasted through the middle of next week it's unlikely we'll see this change soon.
