Any farmer who has made it through a few harvests knows that fall is a great time to save money on inputs and build a management strategy for next year. To help you achieve even more value for your farm operation this fall, we’ve rolled out the new FBN® Savings Finder tool in our online store.

How does FBN Savings Finder work?

This new feature is easy to use and accessible through your desktop or mobile app. All you need to do is log into your member account to view your savings opportunities in FBN Direct. Here’s how:

1. You tell us what ag chemical product you’re looking for

Do you know what ag chemical needs you have for next season? Enter the name of the product you plan to use and tell us the number of acres on which it will be applied, the application rate and your expected price per unit.

If you’re not sure about the application rate or which chemical product is going to work in your fields, you can view use-specific label information for the product in FBN Direct.

2. We show you how much you can save buying it through FBN Direct

Once you’ve entered your product information, FBN Savings Finder adds it to your report and automatically searches our ag chemical database to show you an alternative and the amount you’ll save buying it instead:

We’ll also show you the total cost and number of units you’ll need, cost/acre and price/unit so you can get the big picture view of your savings.

3. You build a plan that is going to protect your crops—and your bottom line

Once you’ve calculated your savings, you can add the suggested product directly to your shopping cart and select the quantity you need for your operation. Then either complete your order or search for additional ag chemical products—we’ll build them into your report and keep calculating your total savings as you go:
