Has anyone used the generic liberty made by willowood? FBN has some and I’m considering that brand.

Great stuff. Worked better than Liberty.

It’s all about spray tips and water quality not the amount of water . They want you to use more water for drift and to use more chemical so it gets diluted. I had better control when I used less water . Using Liberty recommended rate of water and chemical I got very little control and when I cut my water down to 4 gallons and cut the chemical I got much better control.

Liberty is highly weather variable, heat and humidity make it act like a completely different chemical.

The generic works just as well as the Liberty imo, it also dosen't seem to foam up as bad.

Never heard of using AMS with it. Can you give me a bit more in sight on this.

If u use the 125 rule( take the high temp and low temp of the day. , if thy add up to 125 or greater your good to go. along with 3 lbs of Ams and at least 15 galss of water, they will all be fine, just buy the one which has the lowest price!!

We used the willowood 280 before dicamba took over in northeast Arkansas, the key to any glufosinate is adequate ams, if you can get it use the sprayable dry @ 2 lb /A, better control compared to the liquid equivalent in my experience. And 32 oz along with a pint of generic dual is a great one shot tank mix if you get the timing right

Bought some this year for our beans and will be giving it a try! This will be the 3rd year for Liberty beans at our farm. 1st year did the name brand and last year all generic, didnt see any diff between the 2. Like others said spray on hot days with no rain forthcoming and it will work great!

We used a tote of whatever generic they sent us last year. Killed the weeds just as well, and foamed less in the sprayer than the brand name Liberty.

I used name brand Liberty first year. Used Generic every year since. I think this was 4th year some type of Liberty soybeans, Liberty, GT27, Enlist E3. Having great weed control.

Takes plenty of water.and it foams up. So grab some defoamer. Liberty isn’t quite as foolproof as RR was years ago. But it’s worked well for us, considering Plain RR soybeans don’t work anymore.

I sprayed plain...

Bought all my Liberty through FBN last year, it was a couple brands of generic, my cousin bought all name brand for 2xs the price from the local coop. His landlord missed a strip with the pre-emerge when he sprayed behind the planter for him. I had a similar spot where the water cleared out of the lines in the corner of the field. The strip sprayed with the name brand stuff didn't completely ki...

Also use 20 gal/ acre of water with the right sprayer tips, 3 lbs. of AMS / acre, and full labelled rate along with hot sunny weather as pointed out above. This gives excellent control.

So nothing to do with chemical, no sunlight. We had a lot of fights last year, spray now or wait till weather changed. The weeds grew but the weather did not change.

2020 update, awesome control, water and temperature. Will consider AMS.

I don’t know whether I used that one last year or if it was another generic Liberty. I have used several several and all seem to work just as good as the regular Liberty. I’ll probably order that one this year It’s a good deal on that.
