LOOKING FOR X-LARGE STOCKS/2000LBS-
Straps and pads must be in good working order and entire base and beams must be sturdy for everyones safety.
We are willing to drive to pick this item up or meet halfway.
We have an American Cream Draft mare-We cannot find a farrier who can trim her or is not afraid of her!! She is strong.
She has been trimmed only three times since we rescued her in October under heavy sedation at a Vet and farrier combined visit once for teeth floating and twice specifically for hooves. All of our other horses are on a 6-8 week schedule.
She is an amazing cart horse/riding horse and does whatever we ask of her otherwise.
We are willing to try anything to keep her, and to keep her hooves healthy.
Our vet believes this mare was shod in stocks for the last 12 yrs. with the Amish. (She might only feel safe having her feet trimmed in stocks.)
She is definitely a creature of habit.
We also have an incredibly sweet 23 year old gelding Percheron with PPID that needs a little help with balance during trims and we think standing in stocks might benefit him as well.
Thank you for any help in advance!
