Looking into buy a Rogator 1100b with a dry box. Trying to decide if there is enough work to help pay for the machine.

Since you’re posting anonymously it’s hard to really help you out much. Not knowing what state you are looking at operating in it’s also difficult to say.

Out here (Kiowa County CO) I’d say no unless you’re doing a lot of dry spreading. Most guys here have their own spray rig, either pull type or self propelled. Custom guys still do some spraying, mainly on farms that are fully custom operated or if there’s a cash rent situation.

Also, if you haven’t already, look into your state’s licensing requirements and insurance. That might help you decide if it’s worth it in addition to just finding acres to spray.
