What do you consider when buying products like engine oils, grease, and hydraulic fluids? What frustrates you about these products today? What brands do you prefer? Would you consider buying these from FBN if priced competitively?

CAn be converted to an alternate byproducts.
There's a product to clean the exhaust so the oilso the engineruns smoother and the   oil is cleaner.
What's the issue? There's always a solution. *******************

Answer

We use bulk oil stored in overhead tanks . And product equivalent to the equipment manufacturers specifications for both engine and hydraulic systems. Both are a Wolf Head product with lubricant changes as needed . This has worked out good for us as the supplier delivers both products to our shop as needed.
 For our grease we use a Perma lube product that after our own on farm testing has provided the best protection of any we tested , now only use about 1/2 the amount of lube each time we grease as had before. Yes we may be a little anal about greasing but have much better component durability than many. Much less bearing and bushing issues .
 Being located in NY without getting enough volume of said lubricants would create an issue logistically
