Grain Bin Monitoring System

In the process of putting up a 48' 13 ring Sukup bin to add to my grain storage system. I have been considering a bin monitoring system. What's good? What's not? What's important to monitor? Temp? Moisture? Level?

I will be filling this bin with an air system out of a continuous flow dryer.

Highly recommend Centaur. They are new but technology is outstanding, and pricing is great.

DO NOT BUY AN AGRI DRY. TOTAL JUNK

I have heard good things about intellair, www.tsgcinc.com and www.rolfesatboone.com

What’s bad about it? I just put one in and am a little worried now.

Bin-Sense, All the way. We have them in all of our bins that are larger than 3000 bu. I’m only using it for temperature, but can have moisture also. Sends alerts to your phone or email if something is changing I won’t build s bin without it now. . I highly recommend it.

Put the system in last summer before harvest. Did 18 bins, put the moisture cable in one of them and going forward all new bins will have temp and moisture.

Thanks  ! I’ll check them out

I have used Intellifarm moisture and temperature sensors setup to be able to start and stop my fans automatically and can monitor them from the computer

I ended up going with intellifarms. But I went with the simple system called bin check

We have a 48’ 15 ring bin set up with sensors from OPI blue. The price was right. Can have auto fan control but we just use to monitor and manually control fans. Just need to have good internet service.

Does anyone use sensors to monitor filling? I hate climbing on bins.
