What do you figure cost of hauling with a semi per bushel per mile? $0.005/bu/mi?

Tough question idk trucks are old. Do you just figure the fuel? What all goes into it?

There are a number of cost items to consider including depreciation, interest, insurance and license, repair and maintenance, tires, fuel and labor. The Iowa State University Extension Department has a spreadsheet that you can download to help with the calculation. Just do a search for ISU estimating grain transportation costs. I hope this helps.
