Has anyone had success killing cattails with copper sulfate?

I’ve been told this works. Has it worked for any of you? If so, what was your method? Anything else that works?

1 acre pond full of cattails

There is a glysophate product that will work

It's made for aqua application.

Why do you want to kill them? Having cat tails in a water hole is better than having kochia is a water hole?

Trying to kill them in a fishing pond, not a water hole in a field.
