interesting in purchasing a sprayer, what additional equipment will I need along with it?

I.e trailer, parts and equipment? I’ve never owned a sprayer so wanting to get the basics of what it will take to own one. Also any recommendations on good starter machines been looking at 854 Rogators

Most sprayers already come equipped with a inductor but look at "the handler", especially if you use more jugs than bulk. As far as sprayers, it's hard to beat a deere but thats going to be a preference thing.

I had a 854 for awhile.  Solid machines with cradle boom system.  Depending on what and when you spray,  floater tires are a good option.  Having an auto steer and section control system help with quality of job.  Tender trailer depends on how far and how much spraying ex 5-10-15 gpa or fertilizer 20-25 gpa.  Supply tank or water source to meet needs and know water quality as this can effect chemical performance.  Fork lift or equivalent to handle mini’s of chemical.  I posted awhile back that sprayers are you best ROI or your worst.  It is time sensitive and must be a priority,  if you miss your window there may be no fixes

The only extra I have besides the obvious sprayer is a tender trailer to supply water and chems. Mine is a VERY cheap 40’ flatbed semi trailer. I literally paid $1,000 for it at auction and built my system, which is also super cheap! It’s got 3,100 gallons of water storage, plus room for 4 totes of chemicals and about a pallet worth of jugs. It’s nothing fancy and doesn’t work as well as those fancy trailers that cost 10x as much, but those guys also spray 10x more than I do.
