Anybody use solar panels or wind turbines on their operations?

I have solar panels installed on my shop roof at my house. They were sized for my electrical use at my residence. They take care of my electrical bills for most of the year I usually have 2 to 3 small bills a year. Unfortunately where the farm site is located is with a different power company and they don’t pay back basically at all so would take longer to pay back. It depends on your power company and your usage. I have heard of people looking into solar fields on there farm but was told they want 100+ acres to put them on and I don’t know what they pay per acre For something like that.
